911 GT3 R Hybrid to race at Petit Le Mans
Following the impressive performance at the Nurburgring 24-hour race, the 911 GT3 R Hybrid will run at the Petit Le Mans October 2nd. The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid, featuring two electric motors at the front axle each developing 60 kW to supplement the 480 horsepower normally-aspirated rear-engine, expressly typifies the philosophy of "Porsche Intelligent Performance".
Porsche Design Driver`s Selection
The classics with a new look. Once again, the new MARTINI RACING collection marries lifestyle and legend. Unmatched. Unsurpassed. Unmissable with its characteristic stripes, used to masterful effect on pieces such as the new sweat jackets. Seams in contrasting colors and different racing labels make each piece a real head-turner. Sporty and exciting. An absolute must for every fan.
The 911 models
The 911 models represent Porsche Intelligent Performance in all their different variants: purism, lightweight construction – the original sports car feeling in the 911 Carrera. Performance aplenty with the 911 Carrera S. Maximum traction with the all-wheel-drive models. Open-top driving: in the 911 Cabriolet for traditionalists or the 911 Targa for those looking for more individualism. But common to all 911 models are efficiency, performance and sportiness. And the intelligent ideas of our engineers. Our genetic code: Engineering.
The Boxter models
The Boxster is based on a concept that has already made the 550 Spyder one of the most successful racing cars of its time. A concept that has lost none of its fascination to this day: mid-engine. Lightweight construction. Low center of gravity. In a word: a roadster. A pure, open-top Porsche that stands for uncompromising sportiness – with the best genetic code.

RS Spyder wheels
The new 911 Carrera GTS stands on 19-inch RS Spyder wheels. Its main feature is the central locking device, demonstrating the clear commitment to motor sports. The advantages compared with a conventional 5-hole screw connection are enhanced driving dynamics and performance thanks to lower rotating masses.
New Porsche 911 Carrera S models
Its most effective selling point compared with the 911 Carrera S models is more power and higher torque. Even greater responsiveness. An even sportier driving experience that you can also see in the dynamic cooling air intakes in the front apron. An additional spoiler lip painted in Black. The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR
The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is once again the world's most successful GT racing car. The RSR demonstrated its impressive ability on race tracks all over the world with good lap times, excellent reliability and particularly low fuel consumption. Overall victories in the 24 Hours races at Dubai and Spa, victories in the Le Mans 24 Hours race, the Le Mans Series and the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) were the result.
Cayman and Cayman S sportiness
The sportiness of the Cayman and Cayman S can be enhanced even further. The Design Package and Design Sport Package offer not only exclusive equipment options, but also an attractive price advantage.
2011 Mid-engine concept
When developing the Cayman R, one thing was clear: It should be uncompromising, sharper and more radical than before. This was to be achieved through a consistent mid-engine concept combined with rigorous weight reduction and enhanced power output. The result: No radio. No air conditioning system. No cupholders. Instead: 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels. Sports bucket seats. And 330 hp. In short: 121 lbs. (55 kg) lighter and 10 hp more powerful than the Cayman S.
The new Cayman R
How can an existing sports car concept be sharpened even further? By simply packing more in? That's what many people think. But not us. Introducing the new Cayman R. The car based on a concept that seeks to maximize by minimizing. For us, increasing performance does not simply mean increasing the power output. It means radically dispensing with things that lead to only one thing: more weight. This is the principle of Porsche Intelligent Performance. What does this mean for the driver? Even greater dynamics. Even more agility. The new Cayman R.
The Boxster and Cayman models
The Boxster and Cayman models stand for outstanding agility and pure driving pleasure – all year round, in all seasons. For the colder months, Porsche Tequipment provides suitable equipment for good traction and an even sportier look. The Porsche winter product family includes fine-link, low-profile snow chains that have been designed especially for the individual models.

Porsche 918 Spyder Concept Video
It's difficult to believe that Porsche 918 can do..... a hybrid car that has over 700 horse power, top speed of 198 miles per hour, goes 0 - 60 in 3 seconds, and drives at almost 80 miles per galon..... that's absolutely insane.
Almost every Porsche is named as a '9XX' until the Cayenne came out. It is in essence the successor to the Porsche 917, a racecar of the early seventies that was of epic proportions.
