Porsche Audi R8 technology adapts

The new Porsche supercar will be based on the architecture of the next generation of Audi R8 and will be able to compete with the Ferrari 458 Italia.

Porsche Competition gives rise progress

Porsche already had experience in developing a sports car with the VW Group, but this time with a subsidiary of its plans. The new model Porsche will use the design, partly made of carbon fiber, which is in the final design stage and has already been used in the prototype Audi R8 e-tron, which can be seen in Frankfurt in September 2011. This same technology is applied in the next Lamborghini Gallardo. Porsche confidently set their sights on the price Range supercar, which will be a class above 911 but below 918, and from € 300,000 to € 450,000. Next the VW R8 gets an improved 4-liter twin-turbo V8, which is also installed on the S8. For this model, the engine has a capacity of 510 hp configuration at 660 nm of torque, but there is a suspicion that this is not the limit.
