A year ago Porsche used Detroit Car Show to present its new 918 RSR, though they were never interested in this event before.
But last year’s success showed the dealers the profit of Detroit Show, so this year Porsche is going to introduce new Carrera 911 Cabriolet in Detroit. It is made of high-quality materials, especially in its soft convertible roof that is made in form of regular sedan coupe roof. Its weight is reduced by reducing metal elements of the roof. By presenting this car in Detroit, Porsche shows not only their respect for the Show. It is also a step towards their international clients in North America. And, according to the official announcements, Porsche will increase the number of series and models selling in the US.
